The Fiorino Effect: Joint effort by Apt Firenze and the province of Florence to help American tourist with the burgeoning effect of the Euro to the USD. From May 15 through December 2008, American tourists can flash their passports for a 10 percent discount at participating restaurants and hotels and a 20 percent discount on entry to exhibitions hosted by Palazzo Strozzi and a 15 percent discount at the Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino.
